Product Description

The PFD-8 desiccant tank breather features a vertical spin-on design with an integrated yellow canister housing a moisture-absorbing desiccant bed and a 1 μm filter layer. During tank breathing cycles, all incoming air passes through the breather — moisture is captured by the desiccant while solid particles are trapped by the filter media. This prevents water vapor and dust from entering the reservoir, protects hydraulic oil from degradation and internal corrosion, and extends the service life of both the fluid and system components. A built-in status viewing window allows visual inspection of desiccant saturation through color change, enabling timely maintenance and replacement.
